African violet - Saintpaulia ionantha
Velvety leaves of this favourite miniature growth indoor plant form a thick rosette from which the white, blue, violet or rosy flowers evolve, all year round.

TransplantingIn spring, if necessary, using a slightly acidic substrate.

CarePosition in partial shade, avoid direct sunlight. Optimum temperature is 20-22°C, minimum winter temperature 16°C. Water moderate, avoid overwatering the substrate. Feed once in a month with a low nitrogen fertilizer.
