Eternal Flame - Calathea roseopicta

Dark green leaves of this indoor plant are brown-red at the back. Orange flowers occur in January and February.

Up to 50cm.
Transplanting

In spring, if necessary, into a lightly acidic substrate.
Care

Position in bright to partial shade, but avoid direct sunlight. Optimum temperature is 20-22°C, minimum winter temperature 15°C. Water the plant regularly with soft water. Ensure that the relative air humidity is high. Feed every two weeks during the active growth season.
