Evergreen tree which grows up to 10 meters. Crown is pyramidal and rounded. Foliage is large, waxy, glossy and dark green but light brown at the back. It blooms in summer. Flowers are large, white and quite decorative. In areas with a mild climate it prospers out in the open.
